FAQs
1. Do I need to install anything to use OBScoreboard with OBS?
Nope, nothing to install! OBScoreboard runs entirely in your browser. Just grab the overlay link we give you and drop it into OBS as a browser source — that’s it.
2. I’m not using OBS — will this still work for me?
Totally. Whether you’re on Wirecast, vMix, Streamlabs, YoloBox, or anything else that supports browser links, OBScoreboard will work just fine.
3. Can I set up custom team names and change colours?
Of course. Once you’ve added your overlay, just head over to the Teams section. You can create your teams, set names, choose team colours, even tweak things like half length and other match settings.
4. The scoreboard’s in the wrong place — how do I move it?
No problem. Just click the little “Edit Position” icon in the scoreboard layer. You can then drag it wherever you want on the screen.
5. What size should I set in OBS for the overlay to look right?
We recommend setting it to 1920×1080 — that’s full HD and the best size for clean results on your stream.
6. Can I see what it looks like before I go live?
Yep! When you click “Go Live,” your overlay will open in a browser window so you can double-check everything before pushing it live on your stream.
7. Is there a way to save my layout for future matches?
Yes! OBScoreboard lets you save overlays, teams, and settings — so next time you’re setting up, it’s just a couple of clicks and you’re ready to go.
8. Is it just for soccer? Or are other sports supported too?
Soccer’s just the start. We support loads of sports — including Rugby, Tennis, AFL, GAA, Basketball, Darts, Pool, Pickleball, and Padel — with more being added all the time.
9. Can I run this from my phone or tablet?
You sure can. You can log in from your phone, tablet, or any device with a browser, and control the scoreboard remotely while the stream is running.
10. What if I get stuck or have a question?
